Keith Greig

I am a passionate cook based on the outskirts of Edinburgh and I like to cook over fire using a variety of grills/ovens.

 

For the last 5 years I've used social media as a platform to showcase local and wild produce, cooked over fire using wood and coal. I like to do things a little bit different, adding my twist to the dishes that I cook.

Cooking with fire can be unpredictable which adds to the fun of cooking outdoors. I also cater to clients on a small shooting estate during the season and showcase the wild produce in all my dishes I serve my clients. It's a fun hobby that turned into a mildly successful side gig that I'm keen to progress and take to the next level

My Dish

I have cooked this woodfired Middle Eastern Venison with charred squash and roasted tomatoes. Served with Kale, sautéed in lamb fat and served with whipped feta and pitta
